
Assistant Manager Fundraising
Context and Role The Assistant Manager Fundraising will play a key role in new donor acquisition and retention, nurturing relationships and supporting fundraising activities at The George Institute. This role will work closely with the Head of Fundraising to help deliver the Grant/Sponsorship/service fees pipeline and develop key strategic relationships with the potential philanthropic funders. We are looking for an individual with experience in fundraising, sponsorships and commissioned work in the philanthropy sector. The Assistant Manager will be an enabler to support The George Institute’s strategic goals by building on existing funder relationships and driving new partnerships across all funding streams. The Assistant Manager will collaborate with research and project teams to understand the fundraising needs, position TGI to win new philanthropic funding and support development of the proposals/applications for submission to large philanthropic foundation, corporate foundations, corporates and multi partnership bids. The Fundraising team is responsible for developing, delivering and managing the philanthropic grants, sponsorships and commisoned work that support The George Institute in delivering on its mission to improve the health outcomes of millions of people. The role is based in New Delhi and will work across the regional offices of the Institute. |

Duties and Key Responsibilities The Assistant Manager Fundraising would be expected to: |
Skills, Knowledge and Experience 1 At least 5-7 years of experience in the business development in Health sector. 3.Significant experience and demonstrable examples in proposal writing and developing proposal costs/budgets, resourcefulness, with ability to influence others to achieve common goals. 4.Be able to work within tight timeline conditions with extreme professionalism and high standard of quality. 5.Have a master’s degree in public health and allied health field, business administration, global health, public policy or business development. 6.Excellent interpersonal skills with written and verbal communication skills, fluency in spoken and written English is required. 7.Excellent attention to detail and ability to work across regional offices and global teams. 8.Be able to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously and work proactively. |
