Clinical Trials Administrative Assistant
Context and Role
The George Institute for Global Health, India, is performing clinical trials to improve India's treatment and care for health priorities. The Clinical Trials Administrative Assistant will be responsible for primarily managing the administrative aspects of a number of clinical trials and support project tracking
|This role reports to: Senior Research Fellow Operations Lead, CORE India|
Duties and Key Responsibilities
•Preparing essential clinical trial documents
•Tracking, distributing and filing documents when they are returned
•Ordering and re-ordering of clinical trials supplies (such as drugs, medical devices, etc.) and ensuring a timely dispatch to the sites
•Providing assistance to the Clinical Trials Manager to maintain the electronic Trial Master File (TMF)
•Preparing and sending study materials to investigator sites
•Attending study meetings and arranging investigator meeting arrangements
•Tracking and processing payments to the sites for the deliverable, as per the contracts
•Ensuring translations of the patient documents
•Arranging team meetings and taking minutes
•Facilitating coordination of ethics, regulatory and research and development (R&D) submissions
•Creating and maintaining study contact lists for study team and sites
•Setting up mail merges
•Sending study newsletters to sites
Education, Skills, Knowledge and Experience
•More than two years of experience in clinical trial/public health projects in India.
•Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
•Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
•Excellent organizational, planning, negotiating and problem-solving skills.
•Understanding of the regulatory environment related to clinical trials in India.
