Beatrice Ope

Beatrice is a PhD candidate focusing on improving women’s experiences with maternity care services in Nigeria at Imperial College London and The George Institute, UK. Her background is in demography, analysis of large datasets, and reproductive health-related research. 

She holds an MSc degree from the University of Southampton, UK, and a BSc from Covenant University, Nigeria. Beatrice has worked with health organisations, health workers, and rural communities, on projects aimed at promoting sexual and reproductive health among women in Nigeria.  

Beatrice is passionate about ensuring that all women, irrespective of social or economic status, can enjoy equitable health, development, and benefits.
