Applying Google’s own nutrition advertising policy to the US market would slash the number of products from the country’s top 25 food and beverage manufacturers that could be marketed to children online, according to new research from The George Institute for Global Health.
Dr Poonam Khetrapal Singh, the Regional Director, World Health Organization South-East Asia Region today inaugurated the Centre for Health Systems Policy and Innovation (CHSPI), an initiative of the World Health Organization with the Asian Development Bank. The Centre is led by the University of Colombo and The George Institute. It aims to support policy and innovations that will strengthen primary health care and health systems in Sri Lanka.
The George Institute for Global Health India is excited to announce that their project, aimed at transforming maternal and neonatal healthcare in rural communities across India, is one of nearly 50 Grand Challenges Catalyzing Equitable Artificial Intelligence (AI) Use grants announced by the Gates Foundation.
